Please Consider Donating to Our Cause
Thank you for anything you can give to help us in our mission to TNR/care for Clarkston’s neighborhood cats.
Each TNR + rabies vaccine costs $25, plus $15 for Synergy treatment (for flea/heartworm/ear mites), not to mention additional costs if the vet determines a cat needs medication or further medical treatments (following their surgery).
We also house and care for each cat for several days following surgery, and are committed to continuing to feed them as necessary to keep them healthy after their return to their colony.
We take each rescue kitten to our vet for an initial examination, deworming, feline leukemia test and flea treatment, and then foster them until adoption.
Unfortunately, we are not a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit as the process is costly and we need all of our funds to go to the costs of cat care. (We also hope that someday our need to do this won’t be so great.)
Our Wishlist
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for any assistance or donations you can share with us:
Financial assistance, for instance via Venmo, to go toward food and TNR supplies, including purchasing an additional standard TNR trap at cost from All About Animals (FYI—the Venmo is through a personal account right now)
Gift cards to Pet Supplies Plus, Petco, Chewy, or Costco (via thereluctantrescue@gmail.com)
Canned or dry cat food—especially Friskies pate
A drop trap (which is a more precise way to catch cats, particularly timid or chonky ones)
Litter—especially Okocat (for recuperating patients and kittens)
